I'm Michael!

I started Turquoise Underground because I love the American Southwest and Native American Jewelry.

It really started when I was just a kid, traveling the United States, living in vans, tents and campers with my family. It wasn't an easy life, but it was real and it was free! My father was a real American picker. He would find the most wonderful things at yardsales, estate sales, and sometimes just knocking on doors; and he would take it all out to the antique shows and flea markets! He'd bring glassware, collectibles, old toy and games, and of course, lots of jewelry, anything he could find! My Dad is gone now; God rest his soul; but I get to carry on some of his wandering, treasure, hunting, spirit when I search for new pieces! So now I want to give you all the kind of raw, real, Underground Experience that I grew up with!

My life growing up wasn't just unapologetically authentic, it was truly one of a kind! And that's the spirit of Turquoise Underground. Adventure, Freedom, Authenticity, and sharing it with those you meet along your journey.
